🥗 Potluck Style Gathering
🎟️ Open to the public – all are welcome!

Join us for a heartfelt Gulf Coast belly dance hafla celebrating movement, lineage, and community by the sea.

This special gathering brings together belly dancers from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Alabama, and Florida, sharing the richness, joy, and artistry of this timeless dance form.

Special Tribute Hour (4:00–5:00 PM)

The first hour of the hafla is lovingly dedicated to honoring
Tamalyn Dallal’s 50-year legacy in belly dance.

Through a special montage and remembrance, we acknowledge her lifelong devotion as a dancer, teacher, author, and cultural steward — and the profound influence she has had on generations of dancers around the world.

This hour centers on gratitude, remembrance, and honoring the roots that continue to nourish our dance today.

🌸 The Evening Continues (5:00–7:00 PM)

  • Live belly dance performances by dancers from the Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Alabama, and Florida

  • Live music by Baraka Band, bringing Arabic-inspired rhythms to life

  • Community dancing and joyful connection

  • 50/50 draw for fun, support, and shared abundance

  • Shared food and fellowship (potluck style)

  • A relaxed, celebratory hafla atmosphere

Bring a dish to share if you can, your love of dance, and your presence.

Whether you dance, admire dance, or are new to the art, you are welcome.

Let’s gather in celebration of movement, memory, and feminine artistry.
